Raising Anti-Racist, Anti-Biased Children Part 2: The Use of Children's Literature and Inquiry at Home and School

The Center for Education and Civil Rights, Child Care Center at Hort Woods, and the Bennett Family Center hosted a follow-up discussion on the first session of Raising Anti-Racist, Anti-Biased Children (read more about that event here).

This discussion included role playing activities and was led by:

  • Dr. Erica Frankenberg, Associate Professor of Education and Demography;
  • Dr. Allison Henward, Assistant Professor of early Childhood Education; and
  • Holley Rochford, Director of Early Child Care Programs and Services.

Center eudcators, teachers, and Karla Schmit, Interim Head of Education and Behavioral Sciences Library and Assistant Director of Pennsylvania Center for the Book, participated.
